Projects and browser storage

Project editing and viewing attached source drawings run in your browser. Uploading plans to create a model starts cloud AI analysis as described below. Reattaching the same source PDF to an existing model does not run another AI analysis. Projects and example drafts save automatically in separate slots in browser local storage; the previous manual save remains available. Original PDF files are not included in these saves; downloaded project files and schedules are stored on your device. Clear the site data to remove locally saved projects. Browser data is not an account backup.

Language and region preferences use cookies lasting up to one year. The site does not have advertising cookies or account synchronization.

AI drawing analysis

Uploading a PDF to create a house model automatically starts AI analysis. Images and extracted text from up to 6 selected pages are sent through Vercel AI Gateway to the model provider identified in the result details. They are used to generate a preliminary building model. This upload flow has no local-only analysis mode. You can explore the example or open a saved project without starting a new AI analysis.

The application does not persist source PDF images on its server. Provider processing and retention follow the provider terms; do not submit confidential or personal information without authorization. AI results require review against the source drawings.

Usage measurement

We use Umami Cloud to understand which pages and tools are used and whether visitors export schedules, images or project files. Fixed public content IDs help connect a guide or template to tool actions; we also measure template download requests and whether an AI import was requested, completed or failed, without sending its contents. This analytics setup uses no analytics cookies, advertising identifiers, session replay or heatmaps, and respects the browser Do Not Track setting.

The tracker receives page paths, approved campaign tags, referring website origins, device/browser information, language and approximate location derived by the analytics service. Network providers receive an IP address as part of delivering the request. We do not send names, contact details, project titles, source drawings or project contents to analytics. Arbitrary URL parameters, fragments and referring page paths are removed before transmission.

Umami Cloud processes measurement data under its service terms and configured account retention. Our current Cloud account uses its US region. You can disable this measurement for this browser using the control below.

Contact and unavailable forms

Waitlist and quote-request forms are disabled in this preview. Fenestry does not currently forward requests to a supplier network. If you contact kai@windowsguy.com by email, we use your message and address to answer your enquiry and keep them only as needed to handle it or meet applicable obligations. Do not email confidential drawings without first agreeing how to share them.

Service providers and your choices

Vercel provides hosting and request security; Umami provides usage measurement. AI drawing analysis involves Vercel AI Gateway and the selected model provider. These services can process data outside your country, including in the United States. We do not sell project data or contact information.
